I'm quite often in Holland and what I can notice every time is that Dutch are strongly aimed to the full respect of horses. Congratulations for your horse, he's wonderful! What I can say is that I do have three quarters and a fourth horse that is (how do you say.... - Ok, I have to find the word - he is not american but matches with the others without any problems. He is great!). If there are italian horse forums with only western, it's not in my knowledge, and especially italian forums wherever you can write in english.... Well, it's different that in the rest of Europe, in my opinion. What I am sure about is that whenever you intend to come to Italy sometimes, you can visit places where you can see "real-italian-cowboys" and beautiful horses. Some of my dutch colleagues already met my horses and like them (and my horses like dutch people). Enjoy your rides in the dutch field and if you like to get in contact with some western-riding people here in Italy (like associations, groups of people, trainers, etc.) do not hesitate to contact me throughout this forum and I will do my best in order to create contacts for you in this country.
